Who We Are MISSION Eddie and Friends, Inc. has been established and organized to "lend a helping hand" to those having a special and often an immediate need. Whether it be assisting elderly with utilities, contributing to a school, presenting individuals with scholarships, supplying a community little league team with needed uniforms, contributing towards a special needs sports team, sending care packages to veterans in war zones, or providing blankets to a homeless shelter (to name a few) ... the aim of the organization is to lend a hand! VISION Eddie and Friends, Inc's vision is to increase public awareness of nonprofit activities and strengthen the stability of the nonprofit sector. ESTABLISHED Eddie and Friends, Inc. was established (in 2007) with the hope of providing a lasting memory of Edward A. Gadson.  Eddie's parent's aim within the organization is to work within the public to raise funds in order to lend a hand to those less fortunate, at the same time, creating a worthy remembrance of their son, Edward, who personified these charitable and giving traits. NONPROFIT Eddie and Friends, Inc. is a nonprofit organization organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations.
